To provide a place for recreation, education, research, conservation and captive breeding of birds, animals, reptiles, aquatic animals etc.
To create a natural environment for birds, animals and other creatures where they can live in simulated natural conditions and without any fear for their lives.
The Tata Steel Zoological Park is undergoing a systematic change as per an approved master plan. Master Plan will guide the
Zoo's facilities renewal, which will help the Zoo achieve its mission of providing leadership in animal care, science, education,
and sustainability. This long process, which is in its infancy, considers a variety of
alternatives and requests for feedback from the public.
