Our Inmates: Reptiles The reptiles at our zoo live in their natural habitats!

Reptiles are vertebrates with skin made of scales, bony plates, or both. Reptile species include crocodiles, snakes, turtles, and tortoises.
At the Tata Zoo, we have created natural habitats for our reptile friends to help them accommodate themselves easily within our zoo. Reptiles like the Python, Rat Snake, King Cobra, Krait and the Garden Lizard that have been found wild in nature are easily available inside the zoo campus. Also enjoy unlimited crocodile sightings or just watch the turtles and tortoises crawl along!

REPTILES PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN OUR ECO-SYSTEM

Being natural carnivores they help in eliminating many unwanted living beings on land and water like insects, snakes and rodents to maintain the ecological balance while protecting crops from destruction by these creatures.

HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO SAVE THE REPTILES FROM EXTINCTION
